OUTDOOR GYM SURVEY

We are seeking input from the community to inform whether or not the North Rosedale Park Community Association Board should approve the funding and installation of an outdoor exercise gym and facility in North Rosedale Park. While many details are still to be determined, based on factors including community feedback, we can share the following:

Two companies are being considered for this contract.

As with our current playground, such a facility would be open to our community members and may become a favorite of nearby communities.

We will seek grant funding and hold fundraisers which we would certainly invite our community to support to install the gym equipment. We would not use current operating funds or decrease current programming to fund this project.

Please base your responses on the following:
1. Use of the equipment would be open and accessible to all neighbors.
2. The installation of the equipment will be paid for through specific fundraising initiatives that will not impact current programming.
3. The maintenance and repair of park equipment will be handled by the company contracted to install the equipment.
