HOW TO VOTE IN THE 2026 NRPCA BOARD ELECTION
North Rosedale Park Civic Association members in good standing (paid 2026 dues or are Life Members) are eligible to vote in the 2026 election of the Board of Directors on January 9, 2026. Members will vote on candidates for the positions of president, vice president and several director seats. NRPCA is offering three ways for eligible members to vote this year:
- In person at the January 9 meeting
- By absentee ballot
- Or Online
Absentee or online voting must be requested in advance as indicated below. Please note that 2026 dues must be paid in order to vote in the 2026 board election. You can pay your 2026 dues now at https://nrpca.org/membership.
In-Person Voting
Eligible members may vote at the Community House, 18445 Scarsdale St., on Friday, January 9 from 6-8 p.m. Members may come to the Community House and have their name and address checked against the membership roll. They may pay their 2026 dues at that time and then vote.
Absentee Voting
If an eligible member is unable to appear in person during the hours designated for voting, the member may obtain an absentee ballot from the Membership Secretary in advance of the election. Absentee ballots must be requested by Sunday, January 4. The ballot must either be delivered to the Community House before 6 p.m. on Jan. 9 or returned to the Membership Secretary by January 8. Ballots are sent by request only and may not be duplicated. Contact Phyllis Lee, Membership Secretary, at phyllis@nrpca.org to obtain an absentee ballot, or call 313-837-3416.
Online Voting
NRPCA will offer online voting via the voting service, Election Buddy. For full information and instructions, visit www.nrpca.org/vote. Residents must “opt-in” and fill out the online voting request form found at www.nrpca.org/vote. The online voting sign-up form must be completed by Sunday, January 4. Residents will have their name and address checked against the membership roll and, once confirmed as in good standing (has paid 2026 dues or are Life Members), will receive a unique link to vote via email and/or text on Wednesday, January 7. Online ballots must be cast by 8 p.m. on January 9. If more than one person will vote in the household, each person must sign up in order to receive a unique link to vote.
IF YOU SIGN UP TO VOTE ONLINE, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO VOTE IN-PERSON TO ENSURE ONLY ONE VOTE IS CAST PER PERSON.
